Helen Hollyman is an accomplished writer, editor, podcast host, and brand strategist with a proven record of editorial achievement, style, and a cutting-edge approach to storytelling. She's the founding Editor in Chief of MUNCHIES, the world's first Millennial food brand from VICE Media Group and former Editor in Chief of Thrillist from Vox Media.
Hollyman left Vox Media in 2022 to innovate in the food system, focusing on regenerative farming and circularity. She writes the bi-weekly newsletter, The Link, which covers circular modes of systems thinking in the fight against climate change and the important bridge between regenerative farming and humanity.
She’s the host and writer of the Ambie-nominated Best True Crime Podcast, The Paddlefish Caviar Heist, from Imperative Entertainment and Vespucci. Hollyman is the co-author of MUNCHIES: Late-Night Meals from the World’s Best Chefs (2017, Ten Speed Press) and the creative director and visionary behind Bong Appetit: Mastering the Art of Cooking with Weed (2018, Ten Speed Press). She hosted and co-produced the award-winning MUNCHIES: The Podcast and was host/creator of Heritage Radio Network’s food culture show, U Look Hungry. She writes for a variety of publications, including VICE, GQ, and Mold Magazine.
She’s a former cook and truffle dealer. Hollyman got her start at Food & Wine Magazine and has worked under award-winning pastry chef Christina Tosi at Momofuku Milk Bar and for food writers Mark Bittman during his time at the New York Times and Amanda Hesser at Food52.
